Keys to the Castle Baby Sweater
Yarn: Dream in Color, Perfectly Posh Sport, sport weight,
70% wool, 10% mohair, 10% silk, 10% cashmere. 320
yards/293 meters in 100 grams. Color A: Amber Glass; 1
skein; Color B: Heavenly: 1 skein.
Needles: US#5 (3.75 mm) needles, or size needed to
produce gauge. (I needed to use US#5 for one-color
stockinette stitch and US#6 (4.0 mm) for two-color
stockinette stitch.) Any kind of needle can be used, but you
will also need two US#5 dpns to make i-cord.
Gauge: 24 stitches = 4 inches/ 10 cm in both one and two color
stockinette stitch.
32 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm in one -color stockinette
stitch.
28 rows = 4 inches/ 10 cm in two-color stockinette stitch.
Notions/Supplies/Tools: Four stitch markers; waste yarn
or stitch holders; yarn needle.
