This simple crocheted tunic pattern is perfect for any season. It’s simple, yet versatile. In summer, it can be worn alone or with shorties or shorts, and in the winter, with a longsleeved shirt, and longies, pants or tights. It can also be worn with the buttons in the front, or the back, depending on the age of
your baby (if they are on their backs, they don’t want to be lying on bumpy buttons!), for the look you
want.

It ranges from newborn to 2-3T in size, and could easily be altered to fit an older child, as well.

This pattern features clear instructions, and all you need is worsted weight yarn, and size 4.5 and 5.5 mm crochet hooks. It would be considered an advanced beginner pattern.

Generally, you could do this pattern in solid or variegated yarn, or both.
