Celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow* by knitting your own medals!

Uses small amounts of DK yarn on 3.5mm needles. Each medal takes less than 5g of gold/silver/bronze to make, and one 50g ball will make ribbons for all 3 medals. The “metal” part is worked in the round - either on double pointed needles (DPNs) or on a long circular needle, using the magic loop method. The ribbon is worked back and forth.
