This is a knitting pattern to create your own little parakeet friend. It will measure 4 inches by 1.5 inches when finished and knits on double pointed needles with any DK weight yarn. You will need:

4 Double Pointed Needles 3-3.5mm
DK Weight Yarn in chosen colour, (RICO Creative suggested)
Stuffing
Eyes
Needle and Thread

This is a very sweet little parakeet with a long tail that can be knitted very quickly and is in an Amigurumi style, (Japanese for miniature animal toy!) The parakeet sits on your finger quite happily (:
