This pattern is an adaptation of Natalie Larson’s “Knotty but Nice” hat, published in Knitty, Winter 2009.

I did the adaptation so that I could make a matching hat and glove set, in the yarn used for Julia Mueller’s “Knotty Gloves”.

Now I just want to share the pattern, in case anyone is looking to do the same thing!
