Lacy Gloves
THE ATTRACTIVE PANEL introduced into the gloves lifts them out of the ordinary class. Anyone who can knit a pair of socks can make these with ease.
Lacy gloves knitted on two needles THIS enchanting pair of woollen gloves is ideal for cold weather, and so simple to make. Each lace-panelled glove is knitted in one piece on two needles.
Materials: 2oz. Paton’s super-fingering 3-ply, pair of No. 13 knitting needles.
Tension and Measurements: Worked at a tension of 10 stitches to the inch in width on the plain knitting these gloves will fit a hand taking size 6 in skin gloves.
This is a small size for a change, but No. 12 needles will make the next size larger, or sts. may be increased after the wristlet and these extra sts. divided equally between the back of hand and the palm. On the back the extra sts. must be knitted plain at each side of the pattern so as to avoid interfering with the centre leaf panel.
