Inspired by my favorite tiered skirt, I wanted to design a skirt for a lady, one that was both attractive and classy.

This skirt is knitted in one piece, worked from the waist down in a beautiful rayon metallic yarn. The main pattern is a simple twisted stitch rib, no cable needle necessary.

Increases are every few inches, to give it the tiered look and creating the full hemline. A beautiful lace pattern accentuates the bottom of the skirt and adds a little more femininity.

Lace pattern is given in both chart and written formats.

Yarn: Blue Heron Rayon Metallic 3(3, 3, 4, 4) skeins (88% rayon, 12% metallic; 550 yds / 503 m per 8 oz / 227 gms) Skirt is shown in Copper/Chocolate colorway.

Needles: Size 5 US / 3.75 mm circular needle, appropriate length for your size.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 22 sts and 26 rows = 4” in cable rib pattern/20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in lace pattern
