Lagniappe (noun)
\ˈlan-ˌyap
An extra or unexpected gift or benefit; a little something extra.
Lagniappe gloves: a basic shape with that little something extra. Cabled cuffs are both pretty and snug to keep the cold out. The cable pattern continues onto the back of the hands, keeping the gloves interesting to knit through the hand portion. The fingers taper slightly at the top for a better fit. Three size options mean that these gloves will fit most hands!
Finished Measurements:
Cuff Circumference: 6.5 (7, 7.5) inches
Palm Circumference Above Thumb: 7 (7.75, 8.25) inches
The yarn used for the sample was hand-dyed by me. You will need about 210 (230, 255) yards of fingering weight yarn.
