Lavender
Lavender is one of our best-loved herbs and has many medicinal and culinary uses. Lavender water was considered to be a remedy for fainting and nausea, while lavender oil is used in various cosmetic products such as soap. When added to food this herb is thought to help calm the stomach. The Egyptians placed lavender in the tombs of royalty.
