Lazychick's Cabled Fingerless Mitts
Keep your fingers warm while you type (or knit)! These fingerless mitts are knit in worsted weight yarn for warmth and quick knitting. Best of all, they require very little yarn!
Full instructions are given for both the left and right hand, which are mirror images. These also use the sleek asymmestric gusset for a better fit. The pattern is written for two circulars; the smaller needles are used for the ribbing.
I’ve made several pairs of these using only one ball of Misti Alpaca Worsted (110 yds) per pair. However, some people have run out of yarn when trying to do this. If you’re someone who frequently runs short of yarn, buy an extra ball to be safe. Or, make them a little shorter before starting the gusset.
