Lettie
by Kat Riddell
Lettie is an easy and quick mesh colorblock scarf that is easily adaptable to any yarn or size. A simple two-row, two-stitch repeat makes up the garter-stitch-based eyelet pattern that hides the color change and is attractive on both sides.
The sample is worked in two skeins of Cascade Yarns Pima Tencel, which is sadly discontinued. Similar substitutes would be Fable Handknit Cotton Tencel or KnitPicks Shine Worsted for a lightweight summer scarf. For spring or fall, experiment with alpaca, wool, or bamboo blends. Lettie is all about simplicity, flexibility, and color.
