This is easy to knit pattern using a caliper cable stitch as well as a regular cable, the caliper cable is a 2 row repeat easy to memorize, along with a simple cable every 14th row,
There is an option to add an icord edge as well as icord bind off.
When Blocking it also can be blocked either straight or shaping to a scalloped to edge,
My cowl is knit with DK weight although it can also use sport or fingering for a smaller size. The gauge isn’t especially important, but the size will change somewhat if you are using a sport or fingering weight.
