In this pattern, I was inspired by Estonian lace and its use of nupps as textured, decorative accents.

Light fingering weight - 450 (950) yards, or 411 (869) m.

Swans Island Natural Colors Merino Fingering, 525 yards (583 m)/100 grams per skein, in colorway Mulled Cider - deep red, 1 (2) skeins
Sizes
Small: 41” (104 cm) wingspan; 21.5” (54.5 cm) depth.
Large: 56” (142 cm) wingspan; 29.5” (75 cm) depth.
Gauge
24 stitches and 38 rows / 4 inches (10 cm) in Column Lace Pattern, relaxed after firm blocking.
Suggested Needles
Size 5 US (3.75 mm) 32 - 40” (81 - 102 cm) circular needles
Special Techniques
Lace, nupps, knitted on edging.
