There is an error in the pattern, it says 500 and 150 yards needed. But it should be what is listed below

Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn(4) Apx: 100 yards in color A, 10 yards color B.
Poly-fil (or similar product ) for stuffing
9mm Safety eyes or alternatives such as buttons,beads, felt, yarn, or embroidery floss.
Hook: US E/4-3.5mm
Stitch markers (alternative is scrap yarn)
Yarn Needle
Straight pins

st- stitch
ch-  chain
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
inc- increase
dec- decrease/ The invisible decrease method is preferred as it leaves a neater finish when
sl st- slip stitch
Working in a continuous spiral.(using a stitch marker to keep track of rounds)
Working in rows.

Yarn colors are defined as:
A is the primary body color
B is the secondary fin color.
