For this little and nice top hats you can actually use the type of yarn you want and the type of hook you want, I made a small one, because I really wanted to make it to wear as a cute accesory, but as I was saying, you can make it as big as you want with the yarn and hook you’ll like, that’s why I didn’t add any gauge.

If you use the yarn recommended with a 2mm hook you’ll get a hat 1,5 inch tall (like 4cm) with 1.25 inches in the top (like 3cm) and in the base about 2 inches (like 5cm)

If you use the 1.5mm hook, your hat measurements will be 1.5 inches tall (like 4cm), with 1 inch in the top (about 2.5cm) and about 1.75 inches in the base (about 4.5cm)

I didn’t add an specific brand of yarn because I used a yarn made in my home country, but it is yarn for lace so use this kind if you want the little hat.
