Lizzy Love was created by the Bliss Yarns staff specifically to help offset some of the astronomical costs required to keep Liz, our “adopted” elephant, healthy and happy. Do you know how much an elephant eats? Liz, alone, eats 103 lbs. of hay and/or vegatation, 20 lbs. of hand-mixed whole grains and 3 lbs. of fruit and vegetables each day! What a grocery bill! Also, Liz needs a little more medical care than some of the other residents at the sanctuary.
