Woman Victorian Caroler
I made this pattern because I love the look of the Victorian era Caroler with her muff.
The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st and Front and Back Post work. The pattern includes description of abbreviations and complete instructions.
It uses small amounts of crochet thread and any colors can be used so it is a great project to use up small amounts of crochet thread (30 yards being the most that is needed). It also uses about 15 Yards of a sport or soft baby yarn such as Caron Soft to add the look of fur to the outfit.
Other materials Needed:Small amount red (or choice of mouth color) could also use embroidery floss
1 skeins black (or choice of hair color) embroidery floss
small amount of thread or floss for eye color
Small amount of polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm)or aluminum hook size B. This is a larger size hook than usually used with thread crochet and makes working with thread crochet easier for those who are not comfortable with thread. The pattern also needs hook size C (2.75mm) for all the yarn work.
Washable fabric glue
Liquid startch
Contact information is on pattern if you have any problems, feedback or just want to show me how beautiful it looks.
Finished Size: 3 inches (7.5cm) wide by 9inches (23cm) long
