Lonicera
Lonicera is a lightweight sweater perfect for cooler spring and summer days and was inspired by the fountains of honeysuckle growing in my garden. Constructed from the bottom up, it features leafy lace panels on the front and back of the body, and some cosy texture along the sides.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). Bust circumference of finished garment: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50)(54, 58, 62, 66, 70) inches; 86 (96.5, 107, 117, 127)(137, 147, 157.5, 168, 178) cm. Sample shown in size 2 on a 32” bust. Recommended ease is 4-8” (10-20cm) of positive ease.
Yarn Requirements: The sample used 3 skeins of Woolly Mammoth Fibre Co. BFL/Gotland 4 ply (382yds/350m per 100g) in the “Spindrift Light” colourway. The yardage required for each size is: 950 (1062, 1174, 1286, 1398) (1510, 1621, 1733, 1845, 1957) yards 869 (971, 1074, 1176, 1278) (1380, 1482, 1585, 1687, 1790) meters. The yardage required may vary depending on the gauge, always knit a gauge swatch to achieve the desired fit.
Needles: 3.25mm (US Size 3) circular needle for the main body of the garment, or appropriate size to obtain gauge. 2.75 (US Size 2) circular needle or dpns for the neckband.
