Loom Knit Tiled Blanket
This throw is a little smaller than the standard lap throw (50” x 36”)
It uses a 36-peg round loom knifty knitter (whether the original kind, or from Loops and Threads or the Wal-Mart variety). You will need to knit back and forth on 32 pegs. 3 panels of the pattern are loom knitted and then seamed together with the mattress stitch (or any other sewing technique of your choosing).
I used a super bulky yarn (3 balls of super bulky chunkee, that was 300 g each ball), but you can choose any bulky yarn, or choose to use 2 strands of worsted (you will need much more yardage, but it may be cheaper) to complete the project. The project would look great in one colour.
Sorry for the horrible pictures on the blog site! I may update the picture later.
