Crochet dress bodice with an attached fabric skirt.

My Youngest daughter desperately wanted a Mickey Mouse dress made with this fabric, but there was not enough fabric to make an entire dress for her. This is the solution I came up with. The bodice is constructed using basic crochet techniques and stitches, suitable for beginners.

The pattern is designed so you can make the dress to any size you wish, using any yarn and any hook size.

The dress in the picture is approximately an age 2 and uses less than 50g of DK cotton, about 40” of ribbon and under a yard of 44” wide fabric

The sewing part is very simple. The skirt in the picture was entirely hand sewn, so no sewing machine is necessary (though it will be a LOT faster to use one!) and requires only straight lines. There is no complicated cutting of fabric.
