This shawl brings so many cool memories. Most of it was knit while riding on Edinburgh Lothian buses with my knitting buddies and later family. It was a time of a lot of fun and such is this shawl - fun to make…and easy enough to knit on a bus ;-)
The shawl begins at the center and is worked outwards to the border. IT is worked in Garter stitch interrupted by rows of eyelets. The bottom half of the shawl features colorful lines shaped with short rows.
