I was inspired to knit my own sheep when my hubby flatly refused to allow me to have a real flock. My only alternative at this point was to knit my own sheep. These little guys are much coveted by my children who love to play with them often. The knitted sheep are not only a great way to decorate with your favorite hobby but would also make a great gift for children of parents who like their children to have eco-friendly, natural, non-toxic toys. I get a great many compliments on my nubby little flock, who sit on a shelf in my kitchen with a few of my favorite things.
NOTE: For those of you killing your hands with these bobbles try using a smaller needle and knitting with less tension (ie knitting looser). It may help a little. :)
