This is the first pattern I’ve tried with knitting & using material so I hope that you can follow how I made the dress.

Also to finish off make 2 straps by c/o 8sts, k1,o1 to end next row p1, k1 to end, do this for 64 rows, row 65 - k1, p1, k1, yfrn, k2tog, p1, k1 - add more rows or button holes as required then cast off
