ERROR in line 13: It has been brought to my attention that line 13 should read as follows:

Row 13: K4, KFB, (K3, KFB) to last 5 stitches, K5

The body of the tunic could easily fit a child up to size 4T with the only adaptation being to the length of the torso.

The pattern could also be worked in worsted weight yarn.

I found that the same sweater fit both my 18 mos sized child and my 5T sized child. I would recommend increasing the length below the arms for the older child but the chest and arm diameters work well for both sizes.
