I designed this for my grandson who loves all things having to do with lobsters. There are two choices for the design: a larger lobster complete with legs and “feelers” and a smaller one more suitable for infant and tiny tot sizes. I’ve included a chart for a small lobster buoy which I put on one sleeve. A friend of mine made a matching hat and put the buoy on the hat. The design can actually be used on any flat-front sweater.

I made the eyes with white yarn, and then put a black French knot in the middle of each, but you can also make them black.

You will need, in addition to your main color, a skein of red (or whatever you choose) for the lobster, and bits of yarn for the eyes and buoy.

The first two sizes have instructions for a button shoulder, the larger two sizes have a regular crew neck (doubled and folded to the back for a neater edge).
