Margaret Afghan Square
Designed for my crafty friend Margaret’s (mugginsquilts) comfortghan, using the Tapestry Crochet technique. Two colors are used in each round, and you crochet over the yarn not in use. Easy pattern with written instructions. 12” block with two variations for a 9” version are included.
Tapestry in the round tends to skew a little. I am working on a version where I turn the work after each round to try to combat this, but the squares don’t look as pretty. I would advise using a larger hook than usual for the double thick single crochet or you will risk “cardboard” status. I used a K hook but I am a loose crocheter.
Enjoy! Great piece for an introduction to the Tapestry technique.
