Meander Mitten
I always had a fascination with greek and classicism architecture.
I used a round-meander pattern for the mittens and a checked pattern for the palm part.
When knitting both mittens in the same colours you can hold them together to get the effect of the meander pattern flowing from one mitten to another.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method but is easily converted for using DPN.
The colouwork is given as charts.
Size: Women S, M, L (6, 7, 8 inches / 15, 18, 20 cm hand circumstances)
Needles: 3.5mm (US 4) and 4.0mm (US 6) needles, either for magic loop or DPNs.
Yarn: Sportweight yarn in main and contrast colour, 100yards each.
Difficulty: workin in round, stranded colourwork, increasing in colourwork.
