Written knitting pattern for a shawl featuring diagonal stripes of stocking stitch and mesh lace-work. Roughly isosceles in shape, the shawl is cast on at a narrow corner and gradually widens. This shawl can be cast off whenever you run out of yarn or achieve the desired size. Ideal for an intermediate skill knitter, the pattern incorporates increases, and simple cable and lace techniques. Contains helpful hints and clear descriptions of all abbreviations and techniques used.

You will need:

  • 4 50g/200m balls Morris Estate 4 ply 100% Australian wool yarn in Limelight
  • 80cm 3.25 mm circular needle
  • Darning needle or crochet hook, to weave in ends
  • Dressmaker’s pins and blocking screen, or similar
