Metropol is a great pattern if you’re felting for the first time. Due to its construction, the result is a professional looking bag, and all your friends will be asking which boutique you found it in (and then asking you to make them one when they find out you made it yourself!). This bag is great for everyday use, and it is also perfectly sized to hold a laptop. I’ve added a lining in my bag with pockets to hold all my little treasures and necessities, but this is an optional addition.

NEEDLES
6 mm needles or size required to obtain gauge.

GAUGE
Gauge (unfelted) is approximately 15 sts x 16 rows = 4” in the colorwork pattern.

MEASUREMENTS/SIZING
Finished size of bag is approximately 15” tall by 13” wide.

OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED
Sewing needle and sturdy thread, a 2” button, bag handle (fabric, belt, leather, etc.), (optional: fabric for lining).
