Midnight Sun Shawl
The midnight sun, a long sunset that slowly turns into sunrise, with the rays of the sun sifting through birch leaves. Those are my inspiration for this shawl design.
I love triangular shawls, but never have the patience to work them wide enough to settle nicely on the shoulders. In Midnight Sun Shawl I started not with two but with three triangles growing down from neck toward the shawl edge. The resulting form is 3/4 of a square, a shape very comfortable to wear. This pattern features a provisional cast-on and basic geometrical lace patterns. The lace patterns are charted.
