MinTill comes in two versions, scarf and shawl. Each is made made with a variety of cables, lace, and bobbles to highlight the natural beauty of the Greenwood Hill Farm yarn.

This design is part of our collection for New England Farm to Fiber, a “farm yarn” stall at the Boston Public Market, to bring you a collection of accessories highlighting minimally processed, undyed, heritage sheep yarn from local farms throughout New England. FINISHED SIZE

Scarf
Finished Width: 10”
Finished Length: 70” without fringe, 82” with fringe
One size to fit the average adult. Length of the scarf is easily customizable by working more or less chart repeats.

Shawl
Finished Width: 15” at widest point
Finished Length: 75”
One size to fit the average adult.

YARN

Scarf
Approximately 720yds of heavy DK or light worsted weight yarn. This includes amount needed for adding fringe.
4 skeins Greenwood Hill Farm 100% Merino DK yarn (100% Merino Wool; 180yds/50g)

Shawl
Approximately 900yds of heavy DK or light worsted weight yarn.
5 skeins Greenwood Hill Farm 100% Merino DK yarn (100% Merino Wool; 180yds/50g)

NEEDLES
Size 5 (3.75 mm) 24” circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)

GAUGE
20 stitches x 40 rows = 4” in Garter Stitch Pattern.
Correct gauge is not critical for this project, but your final measurements and yardage requirements may vary if your gauge is different.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, cable needle, and crochet hook (optional for adding fringe)
