These mitered hot pads are double-thick, to protect from hot pans and surfaces. Knit from a washable wool or cotton yarn, they are durable and can easily be washed and dried in the machine. They knit up quickly make excellent gifts. It is quite amazing that a 4 (6) inch tube can be sewn into a perfect, flat square.
