My “Mom’s Angel Beanie” was designed as part of the 2022 #CrochetCancerChallenge event hosted by SweetPotato3. I designed it in memory of my dear mother, who passed away after multiple cancers ravaged her body. Lavender is the Cancer Awareness color for all types of cancer & it was also my mom’s favorite color. The featured photo of this listing is a lavender hat with the brim in eggplant purple, which is my favorite color. I loved the idea of the 2 colors combined in tribute to my mom & my love for her.

This lovely cabled beanie is so squishy and comforting, that it feels like you’re getting a hug from mom!

Materials
➤Yarn: #4/Worsted Weight
NOTE: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre was used to obtain size specs.
➤Yardage: 150-190 yds
➤Hooks: 5.5 mm (brim) & 6.0 mm (body of beanie)
