This pattern was inspired by the lovey blankets by Sarah Zimmerman of Repeat Crafter Me. She has 3 others listed for free on Ravelry…a monster, robot and dog. Make sure to check those out.

There is a 10 minute tutorial on youtube, which goes into detail on how to cut your fleece and crochet the edge. Please watch this video as it is better than my written explanation :)

You will need a rotary cutter (45mm) with a skip stitch blade for this project. The rotary cutter can be purchased at Wal-mart or your local hobby store.

You can purchase the skip stitch blade here.

Make sure you get Blade #1 for cutting fleece.
