Pattern notes

The pattern is written for two styles, a slouchy hat or a more fitted version. The yarn used in the sample has a high silk content and this adds to the drape of the slouchy version. If you knit this hat with yarn that does not have silk content this will affect the overall drape of the finished item.

The brim of this hat is knitted with significant negative ease. This is to account for the drape of the yarn and ensure a snug fit.

Written and charted instructions included.
