Mookari is a fun play of stripes intersected with lace panels all worked on the bias to create a long tapered scarf that is easy to wear. Choose solid, semi-solid or gradient shades for the stripes and play them off with a contrasting lace colour.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace section.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner to intermediate. The lace is hard to read initially, stitch markers between the repeats will assist with this. Techniques used include triple yarn overs, triple decreases in addition to standard increases and decreases.
