Moonshine
Moonshine is a versatile, feminine cardigan featuring a simple lace repeat which appears fluid when worked in a large panel. These waves of lace are subtly echoed in a slip stitch border along the front edges (which might be my favorite detail of the whole design). Worked in a delicate sport weight wool from Imperial Stock Ranch, this cardigan is perfect for layering in cool or warm weather.
As always, top down construction makes for a stress-free knit, and the lace repeat is easy to memorize. Instructions are included in the pattern for altering either width or length to make this flattering for your shape.
Yardage and sizes:
32(34,36,38,40,42,44)(46,48,50,52,54)
1300(1400,1500,1600,1700,1800,1900)(2000,2100,2200,2250,2300)
As written, there is 4” of ease through the bust, and the width in the lace portion is brought in a bit for a flattering, body skimming shape. Sleeves are fitted for a tailored look, and buttons can be placed wherever you like.
