Moonshiner is available as an individual pattern for $7.00 or as part of the Primo Knits Collection. Primo Knits includes three hats (Asher, the Magda Slouchy & the Magda Beanie), a cowl (the Magda Cowl), and two sweaters (Moonshiner & Magda). The Magda Pullover has not yet been released. It will be a pullover with long raglans, with the Magda stitch pattern in a panel that runs the length of the front. Release of that pattern will be no later than November 30, 2013, though I plan to release it much earlier, hopefully in late October. Check the links to the project pages to track my progress on the sample. At the time of the Primo Knits release the front and most of a sleeve are complete! If you have previously purchased Asher, the Magda Cowl, or the Magda Beanie & Slouchy, the price of those purchases will be automatically deducted from the Primo Knits Collection price at checkout. Please contact me if you have purchased several individual patterns because the ravelry system may not discount more than one purchase - I will refund your the remainder if necessary. Note that there is no discount for individual purchase of Moonshiner or Magda, as the collection was released with or prior to those individual patterns.

The Moonshiner sample is shown in The Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted in the “Urban Iron” colorway. The pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters, with basic knowledge of lace and cabling. Please see specific required skills below. Instructions are both written and charted. The pattern has been professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.

construction
The body is worked flat, in pieces. Extensions of the cabling on each of the fronts form the collar. After the shoulders are seamed, the extensions are joined and seamed to the back neck. The sleeves are also worked flat separately, set into the body, and seamed.
