Morning Lace Cowl
A lovely lacey cowl that can be made with any gauge loom in the round. Use any yarn you please, from sock yarn, to worsted, to bulky. I recommend worsted, as it shows off the lace the best. Blocked or not, the pattern will show up. I used less than one skein of yarn. I recommend a gradient or single colour, rather than a variegated yarn, so the pattern shows better.
Suggested Skill Level: Intermediate
A lot of lace detail: Moving pegs around (very detailed instructions), yarn overs, k2tog. Very little purling except for the beginning and end.
Can be made on any loom in a multiple of 6 pegs in the round. Any gauge. Gauge does not matter in this pattern.
Suggested looms:
CinDwood 90 peg 3/8” Fine Gauge Adjustable Loom (Used this for the example) for a fitted cowl.
CindDwood 90 peg 1/2” Small Afghan Loom for a bigger cowl, small infinity scarf.
CinDwood 120 peg 1/2” Afghan Loom for an infinity scarf.
Any adjustable loom that adds up to a multiple of 6!
