These stranded mittens pay homage to the sunny skies and gorgeous, tall mountains of Alberta.
Materials
Suggested Yarn
Mrs. Crosby Train Case; 55% Merino, 30% Viscose, 15% Nylon; 425 yds 389 m / 3.6 oz 100 g - 170 yds 155 m Hollywood Cerise, 110 yds 100 m African Grey
Needles
US #2 2.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge as listed, set of 5 DPNs, long circular for magic loop, or 2 circulars.
Notions
3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn.
Gauge
40 stitches and 40 rounds / 4 inches 10 cm in colourwork pattern, blocked.
Size
The pattern as written, with the given gauge results in a size Small—7.5” / 19 cm palm circumference. Going down or up in needle size/gauge will change size accordingly.
