Museum Hat
Easy & quick with a classic look, the Museum Hat is made with 1 skein of Berroco’s Vintage Chunky, a great washable wool-acrylic blend with a broad range of colours to choose from. It’s a great project for beginners since it requires knowledge of only a couple of stitches and also is a good introduction to working in the round. For more seasoned crocheters, this hat can be worked up in an evening. The choice of two sizes will work for most children and adults.
YARN: - 1 skein of Berroco’s Vintage Chunky in Chana Dal (col. 6192) (1 skein = 100g/124m).
- Alternate yarn choice: 1 skein of Punta’s Merisoft Space Dyed Merino Wool (197m in 100g)
HOOK: 6 mm hook, or size required to obtain gauge
GAUGE: In pattern stitch, 4” = 7 (sc, ch1) sts x 10 rows
MEASUREMENTS/SIZING: Small (to fit head circumference of approximately 20” or less) & large (to fit head circumference of approximately 21” or more).
