This pattern was designed post hand surgery. It was designed in garter stitch for ease of knitting.

The yarn was changed between versions 1 and 2. I was not happy with the structural integrity of the first yarn used. it was literally falling apart with wear.

I found a terrific indie yarn dyer at the Flagstaff Yarn and Wool Festival. I fell in love with this yarn. She only does small batches so a lot of the colors are not repeatable. The yarn is just a suggestion. Feel free to stash dive. If you are stash diving you many need to adjust the knitting needle size, but not the beginning of the pattern.

As knit the pattern calls for US 9 or 5.5 mm knitting needles.
