Nantucket Top-Down Pullover #B110
This pattern is available for KnitCompanion. #kcdesign
Nantucket, an island off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is lovely — full of sun, sand, soft breezes, and historic New England architecture (one of my favorite things!). It’s a great place to spend lazy summer days. This top, like it’s namesake, is easy-going and comfortable, a top you’ll be happy to wear on any occasion. The waist nips in just enough to flatter your figure, and the scooped neck shows off your summer color and keeps you cool.
This pullover is worked from the top down, beginning at the back shoulders. The back is worked to the armholes, then placed on hold while the front is picked up from the back shoulders and worked to the armholes. Then the back and front are joined and the body is worked to the bottom edge. The sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked to the cuffs, with short-row shaping to shape the sleeve caps.
