Nemunoki
Nemunoki is the Japanese name for Albizia Julibrissin, a beautiful flowering tree. You may know it, it’s here commonly referred to as mimosa tree, or powder puff tree. The pattern stitch on this little sweater top reminds me of those delicate flowers, suspended between filigree leaves.
The sweater is worked top down. Started flat with a little button placket that can be worn to the back or the front, the top features small contrast color accents to add visual interest.
The color stitch pattern is introduced, once the body has been joined in the round and there is a video tutorial linked in the pattern to help you understand the stitch.
