This is the first shawl I have designed. I was encouraged to write the directions for my shawl by Kim & Jill of the Spin a Shawl group! Special thanks to Mindy Wilkes for her inspiration for the lower lace portion of this shawl, which I got when I knit her beautiful Holden Shawl and to Monica Bijl of The Yarn Barn in PA.,who test knit the pattern for me and worked out the kinks in my written instructions and to Darlean Seaman who test knit the revised pattern.

Errata:
Upper Pattern Section: Row 4 is mistakenly labeled (RS) and should say (WS)

End the section with a repeat of Row 2. to reach 189 stitches.
