No Left Overs Amigurumi Flying Pig
Oink, Oink.
Amigurumi pig with polymer clay eyes.
Crochet pattern with photos and written instructions.
This doll might be a challenge for a beginner, but not impossible! Basic crochet stitches are used, but does assume some prior experience with sewing together the doll and simple crochet stitches. I use polymer clay for crafting custom parts which is trivial to work with, but it does require an oven to bake it.
You have to be able to make the following stitches in this pattern:
chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease. The most complicated amigurumi stitch is the one we use to start most circular patterns, the magic circle. Here’s a great tutorial: (https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Tutorials/How-to-Crochet-t...).
The pattern is a PDF file, so you need Adobe Reader or a browser like Chrome (free download on Adobe.com) to open it.
You will need:
• Crochet hooks appropriate for your yarn
• Tapestry needle for sewing together
• Yarn suitable for crochet hook in 2 colors
• Polymer clay
• Either glue or nut/bolt for attaching the eyes (Tutorial on eye making: https://chordclandesigns.wordpress.com/2017/05/31/polymer...)
• Toy stuffing (polyester)
