Northern Comfort Throw
A delightful little lap blanket, richly patterned with variations of three of my favorite wide cable panel stitch designs. The size is suitable for a baby blanket as well.
Yarn choice will affect the finished size and yardage required, but is not otherwise significant. Use any weight from sport to Aran, with the appropriate needle sizes, to create the piece you will most enjoy wrapping up in.
Cable layouts are both charted and written out row-by-row.
In response to requests for making a larger version of this throw a supplement has been added (in a second pdf), that contains additional stitch patterns and directions for enlarging the layout.
