A classic hoody with subtly shaded stripes, inset pockets and neat turned facings.

Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Jumper Weight (100% Shetland
Wool; 118m/25g balls)
MC: shade 203
12 (13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 18, 19, 21, 22)
x 25g balls
CC1: shade 141
2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) x 25g balls
CC2: shade FC37
2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) x 25g balls
CC3: shade 65
2 (3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) x 25g balls
CC4: shade FC41

A small amount (less than 90m/100yds) of lining yarn for
pockets. Sample used Orkney Angora 4 ply (100% angora;
400m/50g balls) in grey.
Other materials
3mm (UK 11/US 2-3) circular needles (or size
to get gauge) in the following lengths: 1 x
60cm/24in long; 3 x 80-100cm/30-40in long (for
holding sts, working edging and finishing)
3.25mm (UK 10/US 3) dpns
3.25mm (UK 10/US D/3) crochet hook
Waste yarn (a smooth cotton 4 ply will work best
as it won’t stick to your main yarn)
Spare needles or waste yarn for holding stitches
One chunky-toothed zip in your preferred shade
of green, blue, or grey (for hoody sizes 32-40in,
zip should measure 56cm/22in; for hoody sizes
44-50in, zip should measure 61cm/24in)
