I just love what you can do with mosaic slip stitch color work. It is such a powerful technique and the more I work with it, the more fascinated I am.

This cowl is designed to match the Not Intarsia fingerless gloves I published earlier this year, After I made those little mitts, I just had to keep going. Thus the cowl, which also looks like intarsia knitting, but it isn’t.

To make this cowl you’ll need

• 400 yds total of two finginerging weight yarns (200 yds in each color)

• two US size 3 circular needles

• three sticth markers
