O Hanukkah! Get your little one ready for a joyous festival season with this colorful sweater featuring menorahs, dreidels, stars of David and whimsical bobbles. A little fair isle, a little intarsia and a lot of fun for both knitter and wearer.

This fair isle/intarsia knitting pattern is suitable for the experienced knitter who loves detail work; it can be knitted straight or in the round. The pattern uses five shades of worsted-weight yarn, size US 6 and 7 straight or circular needles plus size 6 circular needles and DPNs, and has a finished chest measurement of approximately 12-13, 16-17, or 19-20”.

(The sweater in these photos is shown on a dog with 16” chest, and is made in the middle size, which stretches to fit. It is knit with Cascade 220 and a small amount of metallic yarn.)
